💚 The Story Behind the Design

Behind my studio is a small woodland where I often go for walks. It is filled with layers of green plants, and among them, wild roses quietly bloom. Green Story grew from these familiar walks and from two plants that I especially love.

The small leaves and soft white flowers of the wild rose form one part of the composition. Below them, I deliberately scattered a few petals, with one arranged almost like a butterfly in motion. This small detail brings a sense of movement and lightness into the quiet scene.

On the other side, I created imaginary plant forms by combining different botanicals. The slender stems and leaves are paired with delicate clusters of chinaberry flowers, whose fine, fragmented shapes contrast beautifully with the fuller petals of the wild roses.

The background was naturally dyed with an extract made from flower petals. Rather than a single flat green, it moves through deep, muted shades of green and olive, giving the open areas a sense of depth and breathing space. Together with the composition of the plants, these quiet, timeworn colors remind me of the restrained beauty of traditional Chinese Song dynasty paintings.

It can be worn as an elegant silk scarf, but beyond that, it is a piece of botanical textile art, carrying the quiet beauty and classical spirit of the East.

❤️ Care
Gently hand wash separately in cool water with pH-neutral detergent. Please do not soak or bleach. Dry in the shade and iron on a silk setting if needed.

Each scarf is carefully wrapped in a handmade botanical eco-printed cotton bag.

A small botanical eco-printed card is also included. You can write your own message on it when giving the scarf as a gift, or you can simply keep it as a botanical bookmark.
