Highlights

  • Materials: Cotton

A memento mori shirt with a skull and burning candle on a stack of old books, a gothic gift for goth readers and dark academia fans, printed on a soft Comfort Colors tee.

A skull and a burning candle on a stack of old books — the classic memento mori, redrawn as a crisp Victorian engraving.

The oldest still life there is: wax, bone, and paper. Dramatic on a wall or a shelf, and a small daily reminder to read the book you keep putting off.

A thoughtful gift for memento mori and vanitas-art fans, gothic decor lovers, philosophy and classics readers and dark academia collectors — or, honestly, for yourself. Pairs nicely with the matching pieces from the same design in the shop.
Perfect for: goth readers, memento mori and vanitas fans, philosophy and classics lovers, dark academia collectors, everyday gothic outfits.
