Highlights

  • Party decor for gatherings and celebrations
  • Digital download
  • Digital file type(s): 4 PDF

Practice the 46 basic modern hiragana characters with illustrated printable flashcards. Each front pairs a clearly typeset character with a paper-cut memory scene. The back gives its romanized reading, a short memory cue, and a teaching note where helpful. Includes ん and を. This foundational deck covers basic hiragana; voiced combinations, small kana combinations, and katakana are not included. Designed for English-speaking beginners and repeatable character-recognition practice.

WHAT YOU RECEIVE
Four PDFs: double-sided and single-sided fold-and-glue layouts, each in US Letter and A4. Both layouts contain the same 2.75 x 4.75 inch cards and include assembly instructions.
Digital download only. No physical item will be shipped. Colors may vary by printer and paper. The illustrations were created with AI assistance and assembled into printable learning cards.

PRINTING
Choose one layout and the PDF matching your paper. Print at Actual size / 100%. Double-sided: four cards per sheet, flip on the long edge; test pages 3-4. Pages 1-2 are the guide and its blank reverse; keep both if printing the whole file. Fold-and-glue: turn double-sided printing off; test page 2, cut each pair, fold blank sides together and glue. Follow the included guide and test one sheet before printing the full deck.
