This is a very pretty and not so common footed ornate gold metal filigree jewelry trinket box...there are no makers marks that I can see...this is 3" tall and 4" wide and 4" deep...the top features a glossy ceramic or porcelain tile insert that has wonderful delicate roses...the body is made of brass finished metal with an intricate openwork pattern and decorative edges...this is probably from the 40s-50's...the inside has a piece of red velvet that does have some wear...overall this is a wonderful pretty piece for any room or vanity and to have a practical use as well...If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask...
