Color by Instruction is pure listening practice. No speaking is required from the student, which makes it one of the few activities that genuinely works at A1, and you can see exactly what each student understood.

HOW EACH SCRIPT BUILDS
Lines 1 to 5: numbers and colors. Lines 6 to 9: one position word at a time. Lines 10 to 12: position and color in one sentence, like color the cat under the table orange, with two of the same thing in the picture.
