We inspect each item carefully to ensure it’s in good condition. However, as vintage items, some may show signs of wear and age, which we always describe in the product listings. We believe these imperfections add to the charm and authenticity of the piece. If you're looking for items with minimal wear, be sure to check the condition notes in the listing.

What if I change my mind about an item I ordered?

Sometimes you change your mind, and that's ok. Just be sure to cancel the order through Etsy before the item ships.

Can I return a vintage item?

Sorry, due to the fragile nature of most of the items we sell, we do not offer returns. Please carefully review all photos and read the description before purchase.

How will you ensure my item arrives safely?

We take extra care to ensure all our items are carefully wrapped and packaged for shipping to ensure they arrive safely. In addition to Etsy, we have been selling on another online marketplace that begins with "E" for more than a year, and have a 100% track record on items arriving safely.

What should I do if my vintage item arrives damaged?

We take extra care to package your item for safe delivery. In the rare case of damage during transit, please reach out to us immediately with clear photos of the damage and the original packaging material and label. We will work to resolve the issue as quickly as possible, either by offering a refund, replacement, or other solution.

Do you combine shipping on multiple items? Do you refund shipping overages?

Yes! We combine shipping whenever possible to save on both packaging and shipping costs. However, sometimes, due to the fragile nature of many items in this shop, combining items into one box isn't always possible or best practice, as it could increase shipping costs or risk damage to your items. We refund shipping overages more than $2 once the item ships.

Why don't you offer free shipping?

Free shipping is typically "built in" to the price you pay for for items in an order. We feel it's important to offer transparency in our shipping prices. Your shipping cost is for the item you purchased based on USPS's or other vendor's rates for the package's dimensions, weight, and distance to your address.

Add an air of French country charm to your breakfast/brunch table with this pair of vintage Longchamp Perouges France faience egg cups featuring a hand-painted folk art yellow and blue bird motif with vibrant purple tail feathers and a decoratively scrolled border. Named after Pérouges, a beautifully preserved medieval walled village in eastern France.

These egg cups are both beautiful and functional. The double-ended design were popular in European tableware and allow two different ways to eat eggs:

+ Smaller end: Designed to hold a single soft-boiled chicken egg upright while still in its shell.

+ Larger end: Serves as a tiny bowl, traditionally used to empty the soft-boiled egg completely out of its shell.

Longchamp Pottery (Faïencerie de Longchamps) was founded in 1867 by the Charbonnier family in Longchamp, Burgundy, a region in France known for its rich clay deposits. By the mid-twentieth century it had a strong reputation for producing high-quality "faïence" (fine, tin-glazed earthenware) that was both functional and artistic. The historic pottery works closed permanently in 1990.
