WHAT IT IS

A 20 page printable wedding planner, as a PDF. You download it, you print it, you write on it with a pen.

It opens in the free PDF reader that is already on your computer, your phone and the library printer. There is no account to open, no editor to learn, no template to unlock and no watermark to pay to remove.

TWENTY PAGES, AND NOT TWO HUNDRED

The long bundles on this shelf are long because their pages are blank. A sheet headed Vendors with ruled lines under it does not tell you anything, so it takes twenty of them to cover a wedding.

Every page here is finished. The venue page is not headed Venue, it is sixteen questions to ask before you book, including what the service charge is, whether there is another wedding that day, and what actually happens if it rains. The supplier page is not a blank grid, it is eleven suppliers in the order they sell out, with the thing to ask each one.

HALF OF IT IS SPENT BEFORE YOU CHOOSE ANYTHING

Page three is the whole budget on one page, and the share column is already printed. It says where a wedding budget lands before you have picked a single thing: the room and the food take about 45 percent of it, photography about 12, what everybody wears about 9. It also names the two lines nobody writes down and everybody pays, which are the service charge and the tips.

That page is included as a separate one page file as well, because it is the one that gets rewritten every time something changes.

THE THINGS NOBODY THINKS OF

Who holds the rings until the ceremony. Who reads the family photograph list out loud, because a photographer cannot know which woman is your aunt and that is the only reason those photographs do not exist. Who collects the cards and presents and takes them home. Who makes sure the two of you actually eat. Every one of them is free, and every one of them gets forgotten.

Every page stands on its own. The seating page is useless in month one and the only page that matters in month eleven, so print it then. Nobody has to print twenty pages to use six.

PRINTING

Black ink only, on every page. No colour cartridge, no full bleed, nothing to trim. Set up for US Letter and for A4 separately rather than one scaled down into the other. Every page prints on its own, and the left margin is left clear for a hole punch.

WHAT THIS IS NOT

It is not editable. It is a printable to write on with a pen, not a form to type into, and it is not a Canva template. Please read that line twice before you buy, because it is the one thing people are disappointed by on this shelf and I would rather you did not buy it than be sorry you did.

It is not dated. There is no year on it, so it works for a wedding in any month of any year.

It is not one country's. The decisions are the ones every wedding has. Where a country calls something by its own name, the page says both.

Designed by me, start to finish. What each page asks, the order the pages come in, the wording and the layout are mine. Every page is drawn by a renderer I wrote, which is why the twenty line up with each other and why correcting one of them corrects all of them.

This is a digital download. Nothing is posted, so there is nothing to track and nothing to return. If a file will not open, write to me and I will sort it out.
