Framed Green Tailed Jay Butterfly, The Lovers Tarot Art, One-of-One 5x7 Shadow Box

THE LOVERS | GREEN TAILED JAY
One-of-One Framed Specimen Art

Luminous green markings scatter across dark, velvety wings in this one-of-one Green Tailed Jay butterfly artwork. Set against the vivid imagery of The Lovers, the preserved specimen becomes the focal point of a richly layered composition in golden yellow, sky blue, and crimson. Red side accents and a clean black shadow box complete the presentation.

The butterfly's open wings echo the illustrated wings above it, bringing natural texture and dimension to the tarot imagery. Its striking pattern remains the center of attention, while the paired figures and radiant backdrop give the finished work an intimate, romantic character.

Individually composed for Mila's Exotic Plants & Curiosities, this piece brings together a real preserved butterfly, The Lovers tarot illustration, and a finished portrait frame. You will receive the exact completed artwork shown in the photographs, including this individual specimen and its distinctive arrangement.

THE SPECIMEN

The Green Tailed Jay, Graphium agamemnon, is presented with its wings spread to reveal lime-green spotting against deep brown-black wing surfaces. Pale markings near the body add contrast, drawing attention to the intricate pattern and sculptural form of the butterfly.
