Deer Hunting Log Printable, Trail Camera Survey Sheets, Food Plot Record, Hunting Land Management Log Book PDF, Harvest and Observation Log

Deer property and trail camera survey sheets for people who manage their ground.
Ten sheets, US Letter and A4, instant download, print them every season.

Most hunting logs are built around the hunt. This one is built around the
land. The camera survey you ran in August, the plot you limed in September,
the deer you saw and the deer you took, all on paper that lines up year after
year, so next season's decisions come from numbers instead of memory.

WHAT YOU GET

01 PROPERTY RECORD
Acres, access, lease terms, and a lettered reference grid for the whole
property. C4 means the same square on every sheet in the set.

02 STAND AND CAMERA REGISTER
Twelve stands and ten cameras, each logged to its grid square, with good and
bad winds, access route, card and battery checks.

03 CAMERA SURVEY SETUP
Acres per camera, bait and survey dates, camera settings, thirteen survey
sites, and the published protocol printed on the sheet.

04 CAMERA SURVEY TALLY
Buck, doe and fawn photos by site and card pull. Totals carry straight to the
computation.

05 BUCK IDENTIFICATION RECORD
Eight cards per sheet. One per unique buck, with a photo or sketch box, sites,
estimated age class and the marks that tell him apart.

06 CAMERA SURVEY COMPUTATION
The published trail camera survey method, sixteen lettered lines from photo
counts to bucks, does, fawns, does per buck, fawns per doe and deer per square
mile. A worked example is printed on the sheet, and the method is cited.

07 OBSERVATION LOG
Every sit: hunter, stand, hours, wind, temperature and deer seen. Totals give
you deer per hour, the cheapest survey there is.

08 HARVEST RECORD
Every deer taken, with estimated age and how it was aged, dressed weight,
points, spread, beams, lactation and tag number, measured against the
season's goal.

09 FOOD PLOT RECORD
One plot per sheet. Soil test, lime and fertilizer, six plantings, the
acreage arithmetic printed, and an exclusion cage table for measuring use.

10 SEASON SUMMARY
The year on one page. Survey results, harvest and observation by year, so the
trend is in front of you when you set next year's goals.

Plus a start-here page: how to print, the camera survey in six steps, and the
terms used on the sheets.

BUILT TO BE WRITTEN ON

The commonest complaint about printable log sheets is that the fields are too
small. Every write-in field here is 0.33 in deep and every table row is 0.28 in.
The left margin clears a three-hole punch, so the set lives in a binder at camp.

AN ESTIMATE, NOT A CENSUS

A camera survey estimates the deer using your ground during the survey. The
sheets carry the published method and its source, and they never tell you what
your numbers should be. Check your state's baiting rules before you bait.
