One ZIP containing VacationBudget.xlsx and one separate QuickStart.pdf. The workbook has four tabs: Dashboard, Expenses, Example and Guide. Your entry table starts blank. The separate Example tab contains fictional records and does not feed into your Dashboard.

HOW IT WORKS
Extract the ZIP and open the .xlsx file in Microsoft Excel. Read Guide, set any Dashboard controls, then add your entries in the yellow cells. Dropdown selections and data edits update the related calculations and charts. The review date uses TODAY and can be replaced with a fixed date.

SOFTWARE
Microsoft Excel required; software is not included. Excel format only. No native Google Sheets template or macros. Manual data entry, with no automatic account imports. Amount labels use USD.

LIMITS
Single-trip budget in USD with manually converted costs. Per-traveler totals assume equal shares and do not settle debts between travelers. Estimates are used until actual costs are entered. The supported input area contains 200 rows (7-206). Extra rows require extending formulas and ranges. Table filters do not change Dashboard totals.
