1. On the workbook's Setup tab, type the week and up to five kids with their age, weekly base, amount per point and save, spend and give split. On Chores, pick who does what on which days from the 30-row chore library.

2. Check chores off on This Week. In the invented sample, the Larkin family has three kids: Ruby, 11, earns $10.50 this week, Milo, 8, earns $7.00 on 16 of 18 points, and Posy, 4, earns $2.20, for $19.70 in all. Check Milo's Friday trash and his tile reads $7.50, 18 of 18 points and a 7-day streak, and the family total moves to $20.20.

3. Print Printable Week or the PDF charts for the fridge, log the allowances on Allowance Ledger at the end of the week, then clear the checks and start the next one.

What format is this? Nine editable PDF files (the same eleven charts in three styles and three sizes) and one workbook (.xlsx) in four color editions, plus a quick-start PDF, a START-HERE file and the Google Sheets access PDF. 15 files in one zip, ready to download the moment payment clears. There is no Word file.

What do I need to open it? Do I need Canva? No Canva and no account. Open the charts in the free Adobe Acrobat Reader on a computer, tablet or phone; most browsers and Preview on a Mac let you type too. The workbook opens in Excel 2016 or later or Google Sheets. There are no macros and nothing to install.

What does the workbook work out? Each kid's points for the week, full days and longest streak, the allowance (weekly base plus points times the amount per point, rounded to the cent), the save, spend and give split, running balances on the ledger, and a dashboard with each kid's allowance and the family total. It also flags a chore given to a child under its suggested age. The PDF charts do no math: the Allowance Chart's totals are yours to type.

Is this parenting advice? No. It is a set of charts and a spreadsheet that counts the checks you make. The suggested ages and amounts in the workbook are starting points, not rules, and every name in the sample family is invented.

Typing needs a form-capable viewer: Adobe Acrobat Reader on a computer or phone, most browsers, or Preview on a Mac. Some phone file previews show the page but do not let you type, and typed text is kept only when you save the file.

Each chart has a Clear checks button (Clear stars on the reward and behavior charts) that shows on screen and never prints. Acrobat Reader and most browsers run it; Preview and some phone viewers ignore it, so close the file without saving instead.

Name and Week of are linked across a file, so keep one saved copy per child. The PDFs do no math, and there is no Word edition: the Blank Editable Chart and the workbook cover the rest.

Streaks count within one week, and starting a new week is manual: log the allowances, clear the checks and change the date. Google Sheets ignores the print settings, so choose Landscape and Fit to page there. Apple Numbers opens the workbook but drops some formatting.

The Larkin family (Ruby, Milo and Posy) and every figure in the sample are invented. The four color editions are separate files: pick one and stay in it.
