War Closet Bible Study System for Men, Printable KJV Scripture Study PDF, 4 Week Study of James, Prayer Pages and Flashcards

"But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly." (Matthew 6:6, KJV)

The War Closet is a printable system for private prayer and Bible study, written for men. It covers where and when you meet God, how to study a passage, and a four-week plan to follow. Then it helps you carry what you read into the day and talk it over with a brother. The whole system is set up once, start to finish, on the Epistle of James: 20 readings with focus questions, weekly quizzes and flashcards, and one passage worked through in full as an example. You can see exactly how it runs before you use it on a book of your own.

HOW IT WORKS

Five study days a week, one reading a day. On day 6 you do the weekly review and the quiz, and meet your accountability partner. Day 7 is for rest, or for catching up one missed reading.

SCRIPTURE

Every verse printed in this file is from the King James Version. Where a passage runs over more than one verse, small numbers mark where each verse begins.

PRINTING

Print at home or at a copy shop. Black-and-white printing works fine. Print the study pages as often as you need, one study sheet per reading. Print the flashcard pages double-sided, flipping on the long edge, then cut on the dashed lines. The cover is dark, so start printing at page 2 if you want to save ink.

INSTANT DOWNLOAD

This is a digital file. Nothing is posted to you and no physical item ships. The PDF is in your Etsy downloads as soon as your payment clears.

HONEST LIMITS

This is a study aid. It does not replace your church or your pastor, and it is not crisis care, therapy or medical advice. The notes in the worked example are one reader's approach to the text, not the last word on it.

TERMS OF USE

For personal use. Print as many copies as you need for yourself and your household. Please don't resell, share or redistribute the file, and please don't use it commercially.

AI DISCLOSURE

I, the seller, made this file with the help of AI tools. AI helped draft the text (the study plan, the questions and the explanations) and helped build the page layout. Every Bible quotation was checked against the public-domain King James text, and every quiz answer was checked against the verse it comes from. The pages are typographic, with no stock photos and no third-party artwork.
