OF AN EVENING is a standalone work. It belongs to no series. The mirror's decay belongs to the glass, not to either woman: soot black, bone, dirty ivory, dried burgundy, mercury-grey under darkened silver. There is no gold in this world. Nothing identifies the second woman, and nothing explains why she is there.

HOW TO PRINT

Print at home or send to any print shop or online lab. Choose the file whose ratio matches your frame, then print at "Actual size" or "100%". Avoid any setting that fills or crops the page — "Fill", "Zoom to fit", or "Crop to fit" — as these will cut into the carved mirror frame. If your frame size does not match any of the four ratios exactly, ask your lab to fit the image with a small border rather than crop it.

Matte or textured fine art paper is recommended. This is a dark, low-key piece: gloss adds reflections that compete with the candlelight, and the mercury-grey tones read cleanest on an uncoated surface.
