Alabaster Vase of Flowers Print, Anne Vallayer-Coster 1783 Floral Still Life Wall Art, Dark Cottagecore

DESCRIPTION
Still Life with Flowers in an Alabaster Vase and Fruit by Anne Vallayer-Coster, 1783, printed as a French floral still life poster on 240gsm matte paper. Sizes A5 to A1 and 12x16 to 24x36 inches, framed or unframed.

ABOUT THE PAINTING
Red poppies, blue irises, lilac, pink roses, white guelder roses and a striped tulip spill from an alabaster vase hung with gilded garlands and a small bronze satyr, a nod to Bacchus, god of plenty. Grapes and peaches sit on the marble table beside it, and a pineapple lies on its side, its spiky crown hanging over the edge.

THE LOOK
Deep brown background, with red, blue, pink and white blooms glowing against it, gilded bronze and white marble below. Lush, abundant and moody. Suits a dining room, kitchen, bedroom or gallery wall.

THE PRINT
A fine art reproduction of the original painting on 240gsm matte paper. Rich colour, no glare.

Sizes: A5, A4, A3, A2, A1, plus 12x16, 18x24 and 24x36 inches. Custom sizes on request. Frames: black, white or oak, or unframed.

Printed locally in the UK, Europe, the US, Canada and Australia, at the location closest to you. Free tracked shipping, no customs fees.

Please note: each print is reproduced from a museum photograph of the original painting. Larger sizes show the canvas weave, brushwork and age cracks up close, details not visible in these photos or smaller prints. Like the painting itself, it is best viewed from a short distance.
