✦ HOW LICENSING WORKS
• Purchase the Pattern Hotel design.
• Purchase the appropriate commercial-license listing.
• Pattern Hotel will contact you with a short registration form.
• We will prepare your official Commercial License Certificate for your records.

• If you purchase commercial licenses for several designs, you may register them together on one form.

• You may begin commercially using the design as soon as the appropriate license has been purchased. You do not need to wait for the certificate to be processed. Your 1-year license begins on the commercial-license purchase date.

✓ Create finished physical products for sale
✓ Use the design on multiple types of finished products
✓ Use POD services or a trusted manufacturer for authorized finished products
✓ Resize, reposition or recolour the pattern for your products
✓ Sell online, at markets, in boutiques or wholesale
✓ Produce up to your purchased annual unit allowance
• 1 finished product produced or fulfilled = 1 unit.

✦ YOU MAY NOT
✕ Resell, share, gift or redistribute the original digital pattern file
✕ Sell the artwork as digital paper, a seamless pattern, pattern pack or design resource
✕ Sublicense or transfer the design to another business
✕ Claim the artwork as your own or register it as your copyright, trademark or logo
✕ Allow customers to access or extract the original pattern file
✕ Exceed your licensed annual unit allowance
✕ Continue producing new commercial units after the license expires without renewal
✕ Use the standard license to sell fabric-by-the-yard, wallpaper, transfers/sublimation sheets or similar pattern-bearing materials — please contact Pattern Hotel for special licensing
✕ Use Pattern Hotel files to train AI models, datasets or generative systems

Recolouring, resizing or modifying the pattern does not transfer ownership of the underlying artwork.

✦ COPYRIGHT & LICENSE CERTIFICATE
Pattern Hotel designs remain protected creative works of Pattern Hotel. Purchasing a file or license grants usage rights only and does not transfer ownership of the artwork.

Commercial-license customers receive an official Pattern Hotel Commercial License Certificate.

If apparent commercial use of one of our designs is identified, Pattern Hotel may request proof of a valid license/certificate.

Unauthorized commercial use may result in requests to cease use, platform/IP reporting, retroactive licensing where appropriate, or other remedies available under applicable law.

✦ AI-ASSISTED DESIGN DISCLOSURE
Pattern Hotel designs are developed from my own artwork styles, creative direction, colour palettes, motifs and design concepts.

AI-assisted tools may be used within the creative workflow to help develop variations, refine compositions and achieve precise seamless pattern repetition. Every final design is personally selected, reviewed, refined and prepared by Pattern Hotel.

AI is used as a creative production tool alongside my artistic direction and design process.

Pattern Hotel files may not be used to train AI models or datasets.
