Interactive Chat Widget for StreamElements | Constellations, Moon Goal (Digital Download)

TRY IT FIRST: play with the live demo at nymbra.studio/starlings. Chat as a viewer, watch your star light up, fire alerts and fill the moon, right in your browser. No sign-up, nothing connects to your channel.

A cozy celestial sky for the top of your stream that your chat fills in. Your regulars each get a home in it: a little star with a face that sits in the same spot every stream and shines a bit brighter each time they come back. Friends who talk to each other are joined by lines of light, raids arrive as a meteor shower, and the moon (that's you) fills up with your goal. Easy to set up: open the START HERE guide, play with the practice sky, then copy four files into StreamElements. About five minutes, no coding.

⭐ THE SKY AND ITS STARS

• The first time someone chats, a shooting star falls in and lands as their starling, with their name
• Their name decides the look: 4 shapes, 8 colours, 2 eye styles, 3 mouths, and a bow, a flower or a sprout on some. About 1 in 200 new stars is born shimmering
• When they chat again, their star wakes up, hops and shows the message in a bubble
• Subscribers wear a gold crown, VIPs a heart gem, moderators a little orbit ring
• Stars float, blink and twinkle; bright regulars get sparkle spikes
• Transparent background, so your game or camera shows through. Drawn in code, no image files to host

🌙 A SKY THAT REMEMBERS YOUR REGULARS

• Every star keeps the same spot, stream after stream
• Each stream a viewer comes back, their star gets a little brighter. Brightness never fades
• Regulars from the last 60 days are waiting in the sky, dozing, when you go live, and wake up when they chat
• Remembers up to 400 viewers, saved in your own StreamElements account under a save slot you name. Type a new slot name for a fresh sky; the old one is kept

✨ CONSTELLATIONS

• When a viewer @mentions someone who is in the sky, a line of light joins their two stars and they drift a little closer
• Three or more joined stars become a named constellation, like The Velvet Otter or The Whispering Accordion, announced once on a small plate
• The lines stay, so your community's friendships build up over time

🎉 STREAM ALERTS, THE STARLINGS WAY

Each alert plays on the viewer's own star, with a small colour-coded tag beside it for a few seconds:
• Follow: a new star is born with a burst (mint tag)
• Sub or membership: a gold crown (gold tag)
• Gift subs: crowns fly from the gifter to each recipient (pink tag)
• Bits: a run of shooting stars (lilac tag)
• Tips and Super Chats: a golden wishing star crosses the sky with the name
• Raid: the raid leader streaks in as a comet with the viewer count, then a meteor shower. Raiders who chat in the next ten minutes land where the stardust fell (blue tag)
• Channel points: any redemption sends a wishing star with the viewer's name

🌕 THE MOON IS YOU

• A sleepy crescent moon in a nightcap. It wakes up when you or your chat talk and dozes when the stream goes quiet
• It fills with your goal: subs and memberships, follows, bits, or tips, with any target. A garland of star lights under it counts up
• Goal reached: full moon and an aurora across the sky
• Or pick "Nothing" and keep the moon just for company

💤 QUIET VIEWERS AND COMMANDS

• Nobody is removed for being quiet. After 15 minutes (you choose, or never) a star dozes in its spot and wakes the moment they chat
• !lurk puts a nightcap on the viewer's star until they chat again
• !star shows their star card: brightness, streams, sky coordinates and constellation
• !skymap (you or a moderator) shows a star chart of everyone in tonight's sky with every constellation named. Use it as end-of-stream credits
• Common chat bots are ignored

🛠️ SETTINGS (17, IN PLAIN WORDS)

Everything is in the widget's settings panel in StreamElements:
• Preview a stream and Preview a raid buttons, to see the whole sky without going live
• Behind the stars: Transparent, Soft night glow (for bright games) or Full night sky (for starting, BRB and ending screens)
• Where stars live: anywhere, or around the edges to keep the middle of your game clear
• Star size, and stars on screen at once (5 to 200; the quietest stars make room first, nightcapped lurkers stay)
• Names under stars: only in chat bubbles, or always. Chat bubbles on or off
• Quiet viewers fall asleep after: 0 to 240 minutes
• Sparkle: Full, or Gentle for older PCs (fewer particles, 30 fps)
• Show the moon, moon side, what fills it, full moon target, and a button to start a new moon
• Save slot and Kick channel

• Designed for 1920 × 1080 overlays

❓ FAQ

• Is this a video loop? No. It is a working widget that reacts to your real chat and alerts. The listing videos show it running.
• Does my sky start full? No. A new sky starts empty and fills as people chat. Regulars come back from your second stream on.
• Will it cover my game? Use the top band, or set Where stars live to Around the edges on a full-screen overlay. The background is transparent.
• Does it work with Kick, YouTube and TikTok at the same time? Yes, all four chats share one sky. TikTok needs the free TikFinity app running.
• Can viewers pick their own star? No. The look comes from their username, so it stays the same everywhere and nobody has to set anything up.
• Can I start over? Type a new save slot name for a fresh sky. The old sky is kept, and you can switch back any time.
• Does it include sound? No. It is silent.
• Do I need to know how to code? No. The START HERE guide has a copy button for each file.

📌 GOOD TO KNOW

• The sky counts the chat and alerts that arrive while your overlay is running. It does not import past followers, subs or chatters.
• Kick alerts need your StreamElements account linked to Kick; chat needs only the channel name.
• TikTok LIVE depends on the TikFinity app running on your PC while you stream.
• Stars are saved per save slot. Use one active overlay with the same slot, and keep the slot name when you update.
• Colours can vary slightly between monitors.

This is a digital product. Because files are delivered instantly, all sales are final and no refunds or cancellations can be issued once the ZIP is downloaded. Please message me before buying if anything is unclear.

The listing photos and videos show the real widget. The stream scenes, the bright game strip and the frames and backgrounds around it are drawn for the listing and are not part of the overlay. Viewer names in the media are examples.
