1. Read the five-page Parent Guide, then open WEEK-01-All-About-Me. Read the overview page, gather the supplies into one basket, and print the week's printables or open them on a tablet.

2. Teach one page a day and keep the record. Each daily plan runs six short activities in order, with the minutes and the whole text for each. In the planner's invented sample, the child has 57 school days and 228.0 hours logged by week 12 (the sample counts 4 hours of learning time a school day and a 900-hour requirement, both typed; you type your state's), Behind by 4.0 hours. Check off Wednesday of week 12 and it reads 58 days, 232.0 hours, 25.8% of the required hours (from 25.3%) and On pace.

3. On Friday, mark what you saw on the week's skills check. Each quarter, check the Skills Checklist by Age and add what you kept to the Portfolio Log.
