Create your own Kawaii Dinosaur Felt Ornament with this printable felt dinosaur ornament sewing pattern PDF. This cute felt dinosaur features a green body with a long head, neck, body and tail silhouette, golden-yellow back spikes, a cream or off-white chest and foot pads, a black eye, and an optional pink cheek detail.

The finished dinosaur ornament measures approximately 4.5 inches high × 5 inches wide. The printable template includes a 1-inch scale reference so you can check the printed pattern size before cutting your felt pieces.

The pattern includes the main body, back spikes, eye, optional cheek, chest, feet, foot pads and hanging loop. The instructions guide you through attaching the back spikes, preparing the chest and feet, adding the foot pads, preparing the face, embroidering the nostril and smiling mouth, completing the decorative body details, joining the front and back body pieces, and attaching the hanging loop.

You will need green felt, cream or off-white felt, golden-yellow felt, black felt, optional pink felt, coordinating embroidery floss, poly-fil stuffing if following the lightly stuffed construction style, green or coordinating twine or ribbon for the hanging loop, an embroidery needle, sharp scissors, pins and an optional disappearing-ink or fabric marking pen.

The finished design uses visible hand stitching, including blanket stitch around the outer edges, small decorative stitches around appliqué pieces, embroidery for the facial details and decorative stitching on the body. The pattern also suggests tracing the shapes onto cardstock to create reusable stencils.

The dino is suprebbbbbb!!!!! For anyone reading the critical review, I had no issues with the dinosaur pattern. The pieces and assembly instructions were clear, and my finished dino looks just like the listing photos. Sometimes a pattern just needs a careful read-through. You have made my day.

The picture of the finished product looks like AI generated as if you look close the legs are part of the body and not separate attachment as you get in the pattern. I cut out pattern as instructed and then when looked at the instructions to put together did not make sense as attaching pieces to front and would see stitching. I am using the pattern but going to make adjustments. Buyer beware and look closely at picture as not what you are getting in the pattern.

The leg attachment instructions in this pattern have now been rewritten with clearer steps, and the listing photos updated to match the pattern exactly.
