Meet General Cornelius Redcrest, Commander of the Royal Guard and “The General Who Was Always First to Rise.”

This characterful 3D-printed rooster figurine captures General Redcrest in his magnificent ceremonial uniform, complete with decorated epaulettes, medals and an unmistakably commanding expression.

Proud, disciplined and surprisingly kind-hearted, Cornelius makes a distinctive addition to a desk, bookshelf, study or collection of unusual animal characters.

General Cornelius Redcrest’s Backstory

Long before the palace bells announce the morning, General Cornelius Redcrest has already inspected the gates, reviewed the watches and greeted every sentry by name.

Born on a modest farm near the capital’s eastern road, Cornelius spent his childhood watching travellers, merchants and messengers begin their journeys at dawn. He became fascinated by the unseen work that allowed ordinary life to proceed safely.

He joined the local watch as its youngest recruit and distinguished himself through careful preparation rather than bravado. His patrols were rarely surprised because Cornelius had usually considered what everybody else had overlooked.

During the Winter of Broken Bridges, severe storms isolated villages throughout the northern provinces. Rather than waiting for formal orders, Captain Redcrest organised supply escorts, established signal posts and transformed guardhouses into emergency shelters. Not one stranded settlement was left without food or medicine.

His leadership earned him promotion to General and the first of the medals he now wears across his uniform. Cornelius insists that these medals honour the guards, cooks, engineers, medics and villagers who made every victory possible.

Despite his imposing appearance and unmistakable parade-ground voice, General Redcrest is known for quietly repairing a recruit’s loose buttons before an inspection and ensuring that every soldier remembers to write home.

General Cornelius Redcrest believes courage is not the absence of fear, but the decision to be ready when others need you. Wherever dawn finds him, he is already at his post—alert, honourable and determined that everyone under his protection should wake to a safer day.
