What Makes These Activities Errorless?
Within each activity, every movable piece belongs in the designated activity area. Students do not need to match pictures, sort attributes, or select a correct answer from competing choices. This simple format offers opportunities to practice placing pieces and completing a familiar task with support as needed.
*Add Optional Counting Practice
Use the same materials to count pieces as they are placed, explore quantities, or practice one-to-one correspondence up to 10. Counting is an optional extension; the basic placement activity remains errorless.
*Practice the Core Word “PUT”
Repeated actions provide natural opportunities to model “put” throughout each activity. Directions include the AAC symbol for “put,” connecting the word with a meaningful action. Students can participate without being required to speak or use AAC.
