1. What files will I get?
Three files. You get a PDF with a link that makes your own Google Sheets* copy, a Microsoft* Excel* file (.xlsx), and an Instructions PDF.

2. What do I need to use it?
A free Google* account or a copy of Microsoft* Excel*. It works in Google Sheets* on the web or in the phone app, and in Excel*. You can use it on Mac*, Windows*, iOS* and Android*.

3. I'm new to spreadsheets. Will I delete a formula by mistake?
Most likely not. Yellow cells show where to type, and grey cells do the math. You get a pop-up warning if you type over a formula, and a formula you overwrite turns red. A status bar on the Dashboard tells you if any formula is broken.

4. Does it handle packages, group clinics, stringing and pickleball?
Yes. It tracks prepaid lesson packages, group clinic break-even, and stringing income and costs. It works for tennis, pickleball and padel coaches, or any sports instructor.

5. Is there a subscription?
No. There are no monthly or hidden fees, and no macros.

A quick guide to get you started.

Dashboard
Money in, total costs, net profit, margin, court hours and profit per court hour. It also shows money owed, prepaid credits, clinic fill rate, tax set-aside, and a monthly profit and loss. A Court-Time ROI ranking shows which lesson types earn the most per court hour, with 2 charts.

Settings
Set your lesson types, hourly rates, court rental fees, club fee percents, and your own dropdown lists.

Lesson Log
Log up to 500 lessons. Each one is marked Paid, Package Credit, Unpaid, No-Show Charged, Cancelled or Comp. It works out court fees, club fees, gear wear and net profit for you.

Packages
Prepaid lesson packs. Credits come off the oldest pack first. It tracks unused prepaid value and warns you when credits run low or a pack is about to expire.

Clinics & Camps
Check group clinics and seasonal camps. It works out total income, fill rate, how many players you need to break even, and net profit per court hour.

Stringing
Track restring income from clients. Restrings for your own rackets count as gear wear.

Expenses
Track costs in 16 coaching categories and check off receipts.

Clients
Lesson counts, what each client owes, and package credits left. It flags any client with no lesson in 30 days.

Rate Calculator
