Daily Field Report | Weather Crew Work Delays Visitors | Phone + Print

End of shift. Weather. Who was here. What got done. What stopped you. Who walked the site. Save it — don't reconstruct tomorrow. A phone-fillable + print Daily Field Report for superintendents and foremen: one contemporaneous jobsite record so the day is not scattered across texts and memory.

Instant digital download. Nothing is shipped.

You get 1 file: Daily-Field-Report-PlanvyaCo.zip, which contains 4 files:
- Daily-Field-Report.html: the tool. One self-contained file that opens in your web browser. No app store, no subscription. Needs a one-time email + PIN sign-in on each device. Covers job information and shift times, weather (high / low, precip, optional wind, ground conditions, impact on work), manpower by employer / trade / GC vs sub, equipment status (operating / down), work performed with location and quantity + unit chips, deliveries, delays / disruptions (with ongoing flag), visitors / inspections with named directives, safety field notes, change / RFI / decision rows, photos, a short tomorrow plan (bridge to the Work Plan — not a look-ahead), remarks, and author + optional PM signature pads with timestamps.
- Daily-Field-Report-Print-Letter.pdf: a blank Letter-size paper version to print and fill in by pen.
- START-HERE.txt: how to open it on a computer, iPhone and Android, how saving works, and how to print.
- LICENSE.txt: the single-buyer license.

The ZIP includes Daily-Field-Report-Print-Letter.pdf to print blank for hand fill. In the app, Print / Save PDF prints a filled record for the binder or the email.

How it works
Open it at the end of the day — or as the day runs. Sticky section chips jump you through weather → manpower → work. Start next day keeps project, location, author and role, blanks weather, crews, work and photos, and advances the date. Enter what happened with enough specificity for the project file. Attach photos. Sign it. The first open needs a signal for the device sign-in lock; after you are signed in, airplane mode is fine. The sign-in lock sends your email, a device ID and your PIN (or sign-in token) to planvya.com to check your seat. The sheet never sends your entries or photos anywhere; they stay on that device.

On phone, tablet or computer
Built to open in a phone or tablet browser (Safari or Chrome) as well as on a computer. Opening local files differs by device, so follow the iPhone / iPad or Android / laptop open steps in START-HERE before your first real job. Entries save automatically in your browser on that device. Save a PDF of every finished record.

Print
Use Print / Save PDF for the binder, the email, or the project file. Or print the blank Daily-Field-Report-Print-Letter.pdf from the ZIP and fill it by hand. Blank tables print with open rows for clipboard fill.

What it is not
Not a code or standards form. Not affiliated with or endorsed by any standards body or agency. Not a PE stamp. Not sealed engineering. Not a legal notice — your contract still controls formal notices, claims and correspondence. Not a substitute for your site safety program. Follow the project specifications, the contract documents, and the AHJ. Single-buyer license: please do not resell or share the file.
