HOW YOU MAKE YOUR CROSSWORD
1. Download your PDF from Etsy, under You > Purchases and reviews.
2. Type keepsakeclues.com/create into any web browser, on a phone, tablet or computer.
3. Unlock the tool with your Etsy order number and the code printed on your PDF. The
tool is free and sells nothing - there is nothing more to pay, ever.
4. Add fourteen to eighteen memories, approve the clues, and download your finished puzzle.

WHAT YOU END UP WITH
- A crossword with 8 to 16 answers - usually 9 to 13 from 14 to 18 memories.
Longer, more specific memories give more answers. The tool marks the clues its checks
are unsure about, so you know which ones to read twice
- A print-ready A4 PDF: page 1 the puzzle with your clue lists and your dedication
line, page 2 the full solution, page 3 your order confirmation (for your records,
not part of the gift)
- Delivery time: the start file comes at once. We make your puzzle after the 14-day
withdrawal period, unless you ask us in the tool to start now by ticking its start box;
then it is built while you wait, so you can have it the same evening (see Right of
withdrawal below)
- Print it yourself at home or at any print shop, as many times as you like
- Re-download it for 14 days with the same order number and code

WHAT YOU NEED
- A web browser on a phone, tablet or computer
- About fifteen minutes
- Fourteen to eighteen memories: places, dates, nicknames, songs, trips, pets, in-jokes.
Rough notes are fine, and fourteen is the minimum.
One specific detail per memory works best ("Whitby every August", not just "holidays").

How the clues are written: inside our design tool an AI writing assistant suggests
answer-and-clue wording from the memories you type. You read, edit and approve every
single clue before the puzzle is made - nothing is printed that you have not approved.
The crossword design, grid engine, typography and layout are our own original work.

GOOD TO KNOW
- There is nothing to fill in at checkout. Your memories are typed into the tool, not
into Etsy.
- Your memories are deleted from our server 24 hours after your puzzle is made, so keep
your PDF. What you type in for a puzzle you have not finished is deleted after 7 days
without activity.
- Digital files cannot be downloaded in the Etsy app. On a phone, open Etsy in a web
browser to get your file.
- Written in English and formatted for A4.
- Everything you might need to ask is answered at keepsakeclues.com/create-help, so you
should not need to message us at all.
- Changed your mind? Tell us within 14 days of your order and we will refund you. No
explanation needed, as long as you have not yet made your puzzle with the start box
ticked (see below).

RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL (CONSUMERS)
You can withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The 14
days run from the day the contract is concluded. Downloading the start file does not end
them. They end early only if, at keepsakeclues.com/create, you tick the box asking us to
start at once and confirming that you then lose your right of withdrawal; it ends when
the tool shows you your finished puzzle and makes your PDF. Before we start, the tool
gives you a confirmation of your agreement as a PDF file, and your puzzle PDF repeats
it. You do not have to tick it. If you do not, we do not make your puzzle during the 14
days and your full right of withdrawal remains: you can withdraw and be refunded, or
make your puzzle once the 14 days are over by unlocking the tool again with your order
number and code (within 180 days of your order). To withdraw, tell us (Paradoxx UG
(haftungsbeschränkt), Danksteder Straße 11, 26316 Varel, Germany, email:
contact [!at] keepsakeclues.com) by a clear statement, for example a letter, an email or a
message through Etsy. You can also use Etsy's withdrawal request under "Help with order";
we confirm every withdrawal in writing without delay. Sending it before the 14 days are
over is enough. We refund all
payments we received from you within 14 days of hearing from you, using the same means
of payment, at no cost to you. Etsy's checkout may ask you to tick a box about giving
up your right of withdrawal. Regardless of that box, downloading the start file does not
end your 14 days; only the start box in our tool can end them early, as described above.
