WHO IT SUITS
Families with children from about nine, and grown-ups who like a daily puzzle. It
starts gently on the 1st - a 4x4 sudoku, a small maze, a short word search - and
builds up to a 9x9 sudoku, a 19x19 maze and a word search that runs in every
direction by the 24th. Younger children can join in with a grown-up.

HOW TO USE IT
1. Download your PDFs from Etsy, under You > Purchases and reviews.
2. Print the file for your paper size: all 31 pages, or a few days at a time. The
pages are white with dark lines, so colour and black-and-white printers both work.
3. Cut out the doors on the cover if you like, and open one puzzle each day.
4. Keep the answer key somewhere safe from early peeking.

HOW EVERY PUZZLE IS CHECKED
Before the file is made, our own software solves every puzzle again: each sudoku has
exactly one solution, each maze exactly one route, each hidden word appears exactly
once in its grid, each secret message decodes correctly, each crossword answer fits
its grid, and each scrambled word has only one English answer.

How the puzzles were written: the word lists, crossword clues and secret-message
sayings were written with the help of an AI writing tool. Every puzzle and every
answer is then checked by our own software, as described above. The puzzle
generators, layout and typography are our own original work.

GOOD TO KNOW
- Digital files cannot be downloaded in the Etsy app. On a phone, open Etsy in a web
browser to get your files.
- Written in English, with British spelling.
- For personal and family use: print as many copies as your household needs. Please
do not resell or share the files.
- If a file will not open or print, message us through Etsy and we will help.
- Changed your mind? Tell us within 14 days of your order and we will refund you.
