One page of the Host Guide is written for your HR team, to forward as it is: one death, off-stage, told in one plain sentence. No blood, no romance, no swearing, no drinking in the story (the party runs on hot cocoa), no politics or religion. The secrets are office sins: a side business, padded sales, a tell-all book about the boss. All 14 roles are gender-neutral, and shy colleagues can take one of the 8 low-pressure witness parts.

HOW IT WORKS
- Every guest gets one private page: a sweater idea, a line to introduce themselves, a secret to hide, and one move per round. No script to memorize, no acting needed.
- 3 rounds of real evidence, one envelope per round: a scene report, a floor plan, a karaoke log, a photo booth strip, a loading dock camera, statements and more. 16 exhibits in all.
- Everyone writes a secret accusation. Then the sealed solution is read aloud, and the killer stands up and confesses. Every suspect is placed by a document: the killer is proved, never guessed.

THE STORY
Friday, December 19. Winterbourne Toys throws its Christmas party in the Workshop, the old toy factory behind Winterbourne House: hot cocoa, carols, ugly sweaters and a Secret Santa exchange. At 8:30, Evie Winterbourne, the 79-year-old founder, raises her mug: at ten she will read her Nice List, and this year, for the first time, a Naughty List. She goes up to her office to finish it, and never comes down. The snowstorm has closed every road. Nobody leaves before midnight.

FAQ
Can the host play too? Yes. The guide never names the killer; the sealed solution does the revealing.
What is the minimum? Six players, host included. Witnesses 7 to 14 are added in any number.
Someone cancels at the last minute? Witnesses can simply be dropped. If a suspect cancels, even the killer, the host or an optional player takes that page: the story does not change.
More than 14 people? Cast the 14 roles, then split everyone else into Detective Teams of 3 to 5, or print a second set and run two tables.
Remote or hybrid team? Email each remote player their page privately and show each exhibit on screen.
Do we need internet or an app? No. Every hint and the solution are inside your PDFs.
