Give little hands something new to explore every morning with this "Today's Weather" Felt Busy Book Page sewing pattern an interactive, snap on learning page finished at 8 inches tall by 8 inches wide, designed to build fine motor skills while teaching weather recognition through daily hands on play.

What's included in this PDF pattern:

Full materials list felt colors needed, embroidery floss by color and purpose, and small extras like snap fasteners and poly-fill stuffing
Complete pattern piece templates with cut counts and exact dimensions for all 11 components, printable at scale
Step-by-step written assembly instructions for building each stuffed weather icon (with an internal reinforcement disc so the snap stays secure and stable), the storage pocket, and the finished page
A finishing sequence for assembling and closing the page front and back

Design details:

Sky blue felt page with a wavy green grass strip and hand-embroidered "Today's Weather Is..." text
A single snap fastener as the daily display spot, where any weather icon can be attached
Four soft, lightly stuffed weather icons sun, white cloud, rain cloud with hanging raindrops, and snow cloud with hanging snowflakes each with its own snap on the back
A cream storage pocket that holds all four icons when not in use
Icons are internally reinforced behind the snap, so they stay soft and huggable everywhere except the one spot that needs to click securely

Construction note: This page uses a simple sew-and-stuff technique that's approachable for beginner and intermediate stitchers no zippers, no complex closures, just blanket stitching, light stuffing, and snap placement.

Whether you're building a full busy book one page at a time, making a single quiet-time activity for a toddler, or looking for a meaningful handmade gift that gets used every single day (not just once), this pattern gives you every measurement and stitch detail needed to complete the project from start to finish.
