Belt Bag in Earthy Olive Waxed Cotton

Made from a dreamy 10 oz. waxed cotton duck fabric in an earthy shade of olive green with an undertone of mustard and brown, this unique belt bag has a beautifully rustic look and feel that will gain character with wear and time. The nature of waxed canvas is to acquire a unique distressed appearance with use. Each bag that we make with this fabric will vary a bit in look because of this, giving each an individuality.

This bag features two zipper pockets, one 5.75" x 4" with a 5" zipper, and the other within the entire 9x6x9" top flap with a 7" zipper.
The strap is adjustable from 32"-42", has a gorgeous swivel snap hook in antique brass color, and looks best when worn loosely around the hips.
The curvaceous main body measures approximately 14" long and 5.5" deep, with the good usable space being about 11"x5". This compartment is fairly open at the top, with the top flap snapping down over it.

I love my new hip bag! One of my hobbies is going to antique stores and I wanted a small bag that would stay close to my body to lessen the chances of accidentally knocking items off shelves in these stores, which are sometimes very cluttered. I also wanted a lightweight bag that wouldn’t strain my neck or shoulder, like a traditional purse, and would free my hands for inspecting items. I also wanted it to have a slim profile, instead of being a bulky fanny pack. My new little hip bag fits the bill perfectly, plus it looks nice! I have used this several times since I received it and it is my new favorite bag! It arrived so nicely packaged with beautifully folded tissue paper - it was like I was opening a gift! I love the bag and had a wonderful transaction with this shop! Highly recommended!
