When the night river turns smooth and dark, the paper boats set out — float… and drift… and sleep. One carries the yawn of Pip the little fish, one carries Tide the jellyfish's slow silver yawn, one carries Shell the turtle's and one carries Wisp the seahorse's, all the way down to the sea. Every page repeats one gentle rhythm and slows it a little more, until the Moon has counted the last boat and closed his eyes. A calming wind-down story for ages 2–5, made for the last few minutes before sleep.
