Stingy Jack's Lantern: A Dark Bold & Easy Halloween Coloring Book for Teens and Adults, by Brian William Skelton. Lantern Hour After Dark, Book 1.

Content note: dark themes and eerie imagery (no gore). Not recommended for young children.

Some lanterns keep the dark away. Jack's was made to walk in it. Stingy Jack tricked the Devil twice, and when his time came, neither heaven nor hell would have him. With one ember from the fire and a carved turnip to hold it, he has wandered the night ever since. Follow Jack and his black cat, Cinder, past the crossroads and the ruined churchyard, through the bog of will-o'-the-wisps and the witch's wood, across the headless rider's bridge, to a sleeping village at lantern hour, where carved lanterns glow in every window: the Irish legend behind the jack-o'-lantern, in 45 dark scenes with bold lines and big spaces.

HOW IT WORKS
This is a digital download. Nothing will be shipped, and no physical book, markers or photo props are included. After purchase, download the PDFs from your Etsy account and print one-sided at Actual Size / 100% on the matching paper size, at home or at a print shop. Cardstock works well for markers. Test your markers first and slip a spare sheet behind the page.

HOW IT WAS MADE
Created with the help of AI tools from the author's original ideas and prompts, then reviewed, refined and arranged by Skelton Publishing. Based on the traditional Irish legend of Stingy Jack.
