HOW THE WORKBOOK WORKS
Use up to 100 prepared loan rows. Record one lending event and item type per row, with a unique loan ID, borrower label, date out and quantity lent. Due dates are optional. Returned quantity is cumulative; record the most recent return date and add condition notes separately.

Enter and update your own Review Date. Remaining quantity and status calculate from your entries: Out, Due today, Overdue, Open - no due date or Returned. Invalid or incomplete entries show Check entry instead of a misleading remaining quantity. Summary counts refer to loan rows, not totals of different tools. Returned describes quantity only, not condition or a resolved disagreement.

EDITING AND SOFTWARE
The XLSX is intended for Microsoft Excel. It has ordinary formulas, filters and frozen headers, with no macros, external links, cloud account or automatic reminders. Amber cells are inputs; pale green cells calculate. Formulas are not protected. Use only the 100 prepared rows; added rows are not included in summaries.

Calculation tests, saved formula caches, export/reopen checks and all-tab renders were verified using the artifact-tool engine. Native Excel and other spreadsheet apps have not been tested. This is not a Google Sheets template.

PRINTING
The PDFs are handwriting sheets, not electronically fillable forms. Print the matching paper size at Actual Size / 100%. Physical printing has not been tested. No raster artwork, SVG or craft transfer design is included.
