INVENTORY SPREADSHEET THAT TELLS YOU WHAT TO REORDER BEFORE YOU RUN OUT

Keep every product, delivery and sale in one Excel and Google Sheets workbook. Log stock in and stock out, and the sheet works out current stock, stock value and an OK / LOW / OUT status for every item. Anything at or below its reorder point drops onto a reorder list by itself, with the supplier, the order quantity and the estimated cost. Count the shelves on the printable stock take sheet and see the variance in units and pounds.

It opens with 40 sample products and 120 sample stock movements so you can see how it works. Clear them in a couple of minutes (instructions inside) and add your own.

WHAT'S INSIDE (8 sheets)
• Start here - 8 numbered steps, what each sheet does, and how to clear the sample data
• Dashboard - total stock value, items OK / LOW / OUT, movements this month, top 10 items by value, and stock value by category with a chart
• Items - one row per product (room for 150). Current stock, stock value, OK / LOW / OUT status, last movement and days since movement all calculate themselves
• Stock movements - log IN, OUT and ADJUST with a SKU dropdown (room for 1,000 movements); the item name and value fill in for you
• Reorder list - builds itself from your reorder points, with supplier, order quantity, estimated cost and supplier lead time
• Stock take - printable count sheet with expected, counted, variance and variance value, plus count date and counted-by fields
• Suppliers - supplier names and lead times in days (contact fields are there for your own notes)
• Lists - editable dropdowns for categories, locations and units

HOW IT WORKS
1. Set up your categories, locations and units on the Lists sheet.
2. Add your products on Items: SKU, cost, supplier, reorder point, reorder quantity and opening stock.
3. Log every delivery (IN), sale or issue (OUT) and correction (ADJUST) on Stock movements.
4. Check the Dashboard, order from the Reorder list, and count the shelves on the Stock take sheet.
