Print and fold your own seed packets with editable plant, variety and batch details. This low-ink PDF template includes two packet sizes and a glue-face assembly guide.

WHAT YOU GET
One ZIP containing a three-page US Letter PDF, the same three pages in A4, and a README:
Page 1: filling, saving, printing and folding instructions with a schematic.
Page 2: two small packets, each designed body 2.5 x 3.5 inches.
Page 3: one large packet, designed body 3 x 4 inches.
Dimensions are measured between body fold lines. These are two packet sizes in two paper layouts, not six unique designs.

EDITABLE DETAILS
Each PDF has 18 blank text fields: plant, variety, lot/batch ID, date collected, source/location and notes for each packet. Small fields allow 18 characters; large fields allow 22. Basic Latin text is tested. The page design is fixed; you can also print blank and write by hand.

PRINT AND ASSEMBLE
Use a PDF reader that supports saving form fields. Fill, save, close and reopen to check values. Print single-sided on matching paper at Actual Size / 100%, with Fit to page off. Measure the 2-inch calibration line. Cut the solid outline, fold the dashed lines and follow the glue-face guide. Test an empty paper packet first.

TESTING AND LIMITS
Mathematical page bounds, panel reflection, flap overlap, saved field values and print flags were checked. Blank and filled PDFs were rendered and reviewed using pypdf and Poppler. Named PDF reader apps, physical printing and folding have NOT been tested. Actual size and seams depend on printing scale, paper, cutting and folding. No universal software compatibility is claimed.

Use already-dried seed and species-appropriate storage advice. Paper packets are not moisture-proof; no seed viability or storage-life guarantee. This is an organization template, not a seed-saving course.

PERSONAL USE
Reuse for your own garden. No commercial-use license. Do not resell or redistribute the files. No Canva template, SVG, cutting-machine file or raster artwork included.

Instant digital download after payment confirmation. No seeds, physical envelopes, printer supplies or made-to-order service included. Created with AI assistance for Heartland Homestead; files and layouts reviewed before publication.
