Highlights

The arms are coming down the companionway, the crew are swinging axes at the foot of the stairs, and the brass plaque on the wall would like a word about safety. By order of the Captain.

The artwork is genuinely antique: wood engravings by Alphonse de Neuville and Édouard Riou from the first illustrated edition of Jules Verne's Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea (Paris, 1870-71), long in the public domain. We restore the scans, build the composition and set the type in-house. Every design in this shop is our own original composition built from authentic vintage artwork.
