What format are the files, and can I print them at home?

Every chart is a high-resolution PDF you can print at home on standard letter-size paper, or view right on a tablet or phone at the piano. There's no physical item shipped — it's an instant download you'll have within minutes of purchase.

What's the difference between the standard and Deluxe Edition?

The standard edition gives you the same chords and lyrics in a clean, easy-to-read layout. The Deluxe Edition includes everything in the standard version, dressed up with a parchment background, a gold double-rule border, and rich burgundy/gold styling -- a more polished, giftable version of the same chart.

I'm new to playing by ear -- will I still be able to use these?

Yes. These charts were built with beginners in mind -- the chords are written out plainly with the lyrics, so you don't need to read sheet music to follow along. If you can find a chord on the keyboard, you can play the song.

Do you take requests for hymns or songs not yet in the shop?

I do! Message me through the shop with the hymn or song you'd like to see, and I'll add it to my list for future charts.

Can I use these on a tablet, or do I need to print them?

Either way works great. Many customers keep the PDF on a tablet or phone right on the music stand, and others prefer a printed copy in a binder. Do whatever's easiest for you at the piano.

The pianist is out this Sunday, and someone asked you to play. This kit is for you.

I play piano in church, and I know that nervous feeling. Most hymns your church loves can be played with three chords. This kit gives you those three chords in four easy keys, ten well-known hymns that use them, and a plan for the week before.

Pastors, this is a good thing to hand a member who said yes to filling in. Give it to them a week early if you can.

I am legally blind, so I made every page in large print. It is how I need it, and it is easy to see on a music stand.

Not sure how a hymn goes? Every hymn has a code you can scan with your phone. It plays the hymn on piano so you can hear it before you play it.

WHAT YOU GET
✔ "Your first Sunday," a short plan from me
✔ The 1, 4 and 5 chords in C, G, D and F, drawn on big keyboards, with close hand moves
✔ How to start and end any hymn. Play the last line as the intro, end with 4 to 1.
✔ The intro line for every hymn in the kit
✔ A practice plan for the week before
✔ 10 public domain hymns, every verse, plain chords right over the words
✔ A keyboard picture of every chord in every hymn
✔ A code on every hymn that plays it for you
✔ Bookmarks to jump to any page on a tablet
✔ A free bonus sheet at the end, the 1-5-6-4 in all 12 keys
✔ US Letter size, 8.5 x 11 inches. Prints clean in black and white.

THE 10 HYMNS
I Surrender All (C) · Amazing Grace (G) · Leaning on the Everlasting Arms (G) · Pass Me Not, O Gentle Savior (G) · O For a Thousand Tongues to Sing (G) · Sweet Hour of Prayer (D) · Just As I Am (D) · Count Your Blessings (D) · What a Friend We Have in Jesus (F) · Nothing but the Blood (F)

I picked these ten because they are well known and use the fewest chords. A few add one more chord, and it is drawn for you right after the hymn.
