Guitar for Beginners, 12-Week AI Tutor Course for Adults, First Chords, Strumming, Chord Changes and Your First Song, PDF

Most new guitar players give up within their first year, and it often starts early: buzzing strings, chord changes that take four seconds, and no one there to tell them that's normal. This 12-week plan turns an AI tutor into a patient practice partner: it has you describe exactly what buzzes or drags, diagnoses the one thing holding a chord back, and never lets you move on until it's actually clean. A deliberately small, smart progression (fewer chords, more reps) gets you through the exact weeks that break most beginners and into playing a real song, in time, for someone else.

WHAT YOU GET
This is a deep digital guide: a 12-week series of ready-to-run, ~60-minute weekly sessions. You lead each session yourself; every step is scripted, timed and written out for you, so no music background or prior AI experience is needed.
• 12 weekly sessions, each with a plain-language concept explanation, a concrete worked example, a timed session plan you can follow live with the AI-tutor prompts built in, a "show me" checkpoint, a list of common mistakes to watch for, and optional practice for the days between sessions.
• "Never used an AI chat assistant? Start here": a five-minute front-matter walkthrough that gets a complete beginner from zero to ready, using any free AI assistant (no paid plan needed).
• Four rescue prompts in the front matter for the moments a session goes sideways: you're stuck or your fingers hurt, the tutor is fixing things for you instead of teaching you to hear them, it all feels too easy, or you're not sure if something's really "clean enough."
• An orientation that names the real reason people quit guitar and the one rule that beats it: never add a new chord until the ones you have change cleanly at a slow, steady tempo.
• A two-part capstone project: pick a real song, then polish it until you can play it live.
• Plain safety notes where they matter: tuning without snapping a string toward your face, telling normal fingertip soreness from pain worth stopping for, and easing into barre chords.

WHO IT'S FOR
Adult beginners picking up the guitar for the first time: no reading music, no expensive gear, and no prior playing required. If you've tried before and stalled out on chord changes, this pack is built specifically to get you past that.

WHY THIS INSTEAD OF A FREE CHATBOT
A raw chatbot will happily dump twenty chord shapes on you in one answer and let you drown. This pack ships the progression it lacks: a real 12-week path that deliberately keeps the chord vocabulary small while the reps go up, a tutor set up to diagnose the exact finger or angle that's buzzing instead of just saying "keep practicing," and checkpoints that make sure a chord or change is genuinely clean before you're allowed to move on. The result is a beginner who's still playing in week twelve, not one who quietly gave up in week two.

FAQ
• Do I need any experience? None, with guitar or with AI. Week 1 starts with holding the guitar and tuning it; every session after that is broken into small, checked steps, and the front matter includes a five-minute "never used an AI chat assistant? Start here" walkthrough.
• Which AI does it use? Any modern AI chat assistant: ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, Gemini, or similar. The free version of any of them is enough; no paid plan is required. Every session is written out step by step, and the guide's opening section walks a complete beginner through setup in about five minutes. No special software is needed, though a tuner app helps in week 1.
• How much time does this take? You lead one ~60-minute session per week. Every session is fully scripted and timed, with every step already written out for you; you're not improvising or figuring out what to ask. Add ten honest minutes of practice on most other days.
• I've tried guitar before and quit. Will this be different? That's exactly who this pack is built for. The pacing is deliberately tighter than most beginner methods specifically to get you through the weeks where most people stall out on slow, buzzy chord changes.
• Do I need an expensive guitar? No. Any guitar in reasonably working order and properly tuned is enough to finish the whole season.
• Will I actually play a full song? Yes. Week 5 gets you playing your first complete piece start to finish on just two chords (a real song if you find one that fits, or the guide's two-chord practice loop), and weeks 10 and 11 are a dedicated project to learn and polish a real song you perform live in week 12.
• Does it work outside the US? Yes. The guide is written in US English, and every prompt tells the AI to use your country or region for spelling, units, and song examples. Chords are written with English letter names, and the tutor can translate if you use H or Do-Re-Mi names.
