Ever wanted to build a shelf, fix a wobbly chair, or just stop being afraid of a power saw? This 12-week plan turns an AI tutor into a patient shop mentor standing at the bench with you: it puts safety first, explains WHY (how the grain runs, what causes kickback, which fastener actually holds) and diagnoses your trouble from a photo when a joint goes loose or a cut wanders. No workshop, no experience, no talent required. A small kit and a corner is enough.

WHAT YOU GET
This is a deep, digital guide: 12 ready-to-run weekly sessions, about 60 minutes each, that you lead yourself: every step timed and written out for you. No expertise needed going in.
• 12 weekly sessions, each with a plain-language concept explanation, a concrete worked example, a minute-by-minute session plan with the AI-tutor prompts built in, a "show me" checkpoint, a list of common mistakes, and practice to lock in the skill.
• A "Never used an AI chat assistant? Start here" onboarding that takes a complete beginner from zero to ready in about five minutes. Works with any free AI assistant, no paid plan needed.
• Four rescue prompts in the front matter for when a session stalls, a build goes sideways, or you're overwhelmed and need to reset.
• A first real build you plan and make yourself, plus a tool-care routine you keep.

THE 12 WEEKS
1. Shop Safety and the Tools That Do Most Jobs
2. Measure, Mark, and the Math of Building
3. Cutting Straight: Hand Saw Then Circular Saw
4. Fastening: Screws, Glue, and Simple Joinery
5. Drilling and Driving Without Splitting Wood
6. Sanding and a Finish That Looks Good
7. Reading a Simple Project Plan
8. Fixing Wobbly, Broken, and Loose Furniture
9. Your First Build: A Simple Box or Shelf
10. Project Week I: Plan Something You'll Actually Use
11. Project Week II: Build It
12. Demo Day and the Maker Habit

WHO IT'S FOR
Adults who want to build simple furniture and fix things with wood and tools but have never made anything. No shop and no experience assumed; if you can clear a corner and hold a tape measure, you're ready.

WHY THIS INSTEAD OF A FREE CHATBOT
A raw chatbot will happily walk you into a cut with the guard off. This pack ships the structure and guardrails it lacks: a safety-first method, a real 12-week progression from first cut to finished build, and a tutor set up to confirm your protection is on and the blade is unplugged before you touch it, and to explain WHY instead of just handing you steps. Real competence with a safety net, not confident guessing.

SAFETY
This is educational content, not professional advice. Power tools and blades cause serious injury. It teaches confident-beginner-level building and repair and, just as importantly, how to work safely: eye, ear, and lung protection on, guards in place, beware kickback, never reach over a running blade, and unplug before changing bits or blades. Work within your comfort and stop when unsure. It is written for adults; a teenager using it needs an adult who knows these tools present for every blade and power-tool step.

FAQ
• Do I need any experience? None. Week 1 is safety and knowing your tools; every skill is broken into small, checked steps you practice on scrap first.
• Do I need a workshop or expensive tools? No. A small starter kit and a cleared corner is enough; week 1 helps you build the kit that covers most jobs. The main purchases are a hand saw and a cordless drill/driver; a circular saw is optional.
• I'm not in the US. Will it work for me? Yes. The guide is written in US English, and every prompt tells the AI to use your country or region for units (metric or imperial), spelling, money, and examples.
• Which AI does it use? I've never used one. Any modern AI assistant works: ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, or Gemini. The free version of any of them is enough; no paid plan needed. The guide's first section walks complete beginners through setup in about five minutes, so you'll be ready before Week 1 starts.
• Is this safe? Who's liable? It's educational only. Power tools and blades cause serious injury, so it teaches you to wear eye/ear/lung protection, keep guards on, beware kickback, and unplug before changing blades. You assume the usual risk; work within your comfort, and don't improvise past it.
• Refunds? Standard marketplace refund policy applies.
