A violet and orange dusk over a calm bay and a city skyline, F50 in huge red italic letters across the top and a wet road full of reflected light give the artwork presence across a room. The red F50, low and seen from its front corner with the roof panels off, invites a closer look, and a second F50 waits further back on the right. Above a desk or in a garage lounge, it's a conversation piece for anyone who knows what that name means.

The subject is a 1996 F50 in Rosso Corsa with black and red seats, shown with its roof panels removed. The F50 has a 4.7-litre V12 making 520 PS at 8,500 rpm, a carbon-fibre tub and a six-speed manual gearbox, Pininfarina styled the body, and 349 cars were built between 1995 and 1997.

Every car was a drawing before it was a car. We start with the finished car and draw it back to that first decision, until the proportion is honest and the stance is right and you would know it from across the room without a badge.

Giclée on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine art paper, archival pigment inks. Landscape, 4:3. Choose the size in the menu: 40 x 30 cm (16 x 12 in), 60 x 45 cm (24 x 18 in), 80 x 60 cm (32 x 24 in) or 100 x 75 cm (40 x 30 in).

FRAMED
Solid wood classic frame, satin-laminated, 20 mm face, 22 mm deep, Perspex glazing, no mount. Black, white, natural oak, brown, dark grey, light grey, antique silver or antique gold. Arrives assembled with the hanger fitted, ready to hang, flat in a rigid box with the corners protected. Framed outer size is the print size plus about 1.5 cm on each side.
