How do I take care of my Christmas stockings?

You can spot clean your stockings with soap and water, and lay flat to dry. A warm iron can be used if needed. Store stockings in a clean and dry location, preferably in an airtight container.

How will my item(s) be wrapped?

Pretty packaging comes standard on all orders now! Think brown kraft gift box, cream ribbon, and white tissue paper or crinkle paper, whichever makes more sense for your specific item. Gift boxes are packaged inside sturdy shipping boxes so they will arrive in tip-top shape. For extra special presentation, you can purchase gift wrap and leave me a note for a “To: and From:” and I’ll fill out a cute tag and tie it on the box! If you don’t leave me a note, I’ll leave the tag blank so you can fill it in yourself! Note: no gift tag is included if you don't purchase gift wrap. If you don’t want the price to show up on the invoice that I put in each package, just mark the purchase as a gift, and no prices will be printed.

I include step-by-step instructions in the included 14-page PDF, a printable template, a full materials list with links to the EXACT fabrics and materials I use, as well as a full-length sew-along video tutorial!

Materials:
Scrappy version: 12 different 3/4-yard cuts of coordinating fabric for the front and 1.5 yards of fabric for the back
Note: fat quarters or half yards of each would be sufficient if you are not working with directional prints
Solid version: 2 yards of fabric for the front and 1.5 yards of fabric for the back
46" x 46" piece of batting
8 yards of 3/4" cotton twill tape
Regular scissors
Iron and ironing board
Sewing machine with quilting foot
Basting spray or safety pins
Thread
Sewing clips or pins
Disappearing ink fabric marker or tailors chalk
Printed tree skirt template (included)
