THE CANNON BEACH SERIES
I learned the beach on the Gulf, where the water is warm and the only weather is humidity. These days I split my year between Seattle and Palm Springs, and the Pacific Northwest does beaches its own way. You pack a sweater in July. The coffee outlasts the sunshine. And Haystack Rock shows up in every view like it owns the place, which, to be fair, it does. This series is my postcard from Cannon Beach, Adirondack chair and bonfire smoke included.

• 8 x 10 in

FRAMING
Fits an 11 x 14 in frame matted to 8 x 10 (the gallery look), IKEA's RÖDALM 12 x 16 frame (it comes with a mat cut for 8 x 10), or a standard 8 x 10 frame with no mat. No custom framing bill required.

COLLECT THE SET
Weather Rolling In is one of four prints in A Day at Cannon Beach: Coffee with a View, Front Row Seat and Bonfire at Blue Hour (8 x 12), plus Weather Rolling In (8 x 10). Hang all four and you've got the whole day, first cup to last log. Sand in your shoes not included. Each print sold separately.

A NOTE ON TEXTURE
Those thick, palette-knife brushstrokes are part of the image. The print itself is flat, smooth matte paper with no raised paint.

HOW IT'S MADE
Each print is produced by my fine-art printing partner, NW Fine Art Printing in Seattle, then signed by hand and packed by me.
