When the sun slips under the sea, Tilly the turtle floats on the outgoing tide — wave… and wave… and away. Pip the seahorse holds on beside her, a band of little silver fish drifts close, and each slow wave carries them a little farther from the busy day, until even the Moon pulls up a cloud and closes his eyes. Every page repeats one gentle rhythm and slows it a little more, with soft breathe-in, breathe-out cues along the way. A calming wind-down story for ages 2–5, made for the last few minutes before sleep.
