SAVE WITH THE BUNDLE: this file is also in the 2027 Money Spreadsheet Bundle (6 spreadsheets), $15 for everything ($37 if bought one by one, so you save $22). Already planning to grab 2 or more? The bundle costs less: https://www.etsy.com/listing/4590967349/money-spreadsheet-bundle-2027-budget

Set one holiday budget, give everyone on your list a budget, and see what you've spent, what's still coming and how many days are left.

AI disclosure: this item was created with the use of AI. LB3 Trackers designed it with AI assistance: AI tools helped build the formulas, layout and wording, and the file was checked with automated tests before listing.

What's included:
- Setup: your holiday, its date and your total budget, plus your own groups (Family, Friends, Work...) and cost categories.
- People: a budget per person, how many gifts you've planned, what you've spent, what's left, and a status (No gift yet, In progress, Done).
- Gifts: one row per gift idea with a recipient dropdown, budget, actual price, status (Idea, Ordered, Bought, Wrapped, Given), where to get it and notes. Over-budget amounts show in red.
- Other Costs: food and hosting, decorations, wrapping and cards, shipping, travel and more, planned vs. actual.
- Dashboard: total spent, the expected total (actual price where bought, budget where not), budget left, days until the holiday, how much to set aside each week to cover the rest, plus totals by status, group and category.
- Instructions tab first, dropdowns, locked formula cells and a layout designed for small screens.

Who it's for: Anyone buying gifts for a lot of people who wants to stay on budget and not forget anyone. Works for Christmas, Hanukkah, birthdays or any gift-giving date you type in.

Not financial advice. The file only does math on the numbers you type in.

Everything is typed in by hand. There is no live data and no account connection. The sample data is made up, so you can delete it and enter your own.

Format: one .zip file with the .xlsx spreadsheet and a short README. Etsy doesn't accept .xlsx uploads, so the spreadsheet comes zipped. Unzip it (double-click on a computer; on a phone, use the Files app on iPhone or Files by Google on Android), then open the .xlsx in Excel or upload it to Google Sheets (File > Import > Upload). It uses only standard formulas that both support. No macros, no add-ons, no links to other files.
