Stop guessing what to charge for your cakes. This spreadsheet works out what every bake really costs, from the flour and the boxes to the oven energy and your own time, then suggests a price that pays you properly and still leaves a profit.

Made for home bakers and small cake businesses. Works in Google Sheets AND Excel, with a £ version in grams and a $ version in ounces.

WHAT'S INSIDE (9 tabs)
- Settings: your hourly rate, oven power, energy price, overheads, the profit margin you want, price rounding and deposit
- Ingredients: 150 rows for ingredients, decorations and packaging. Type the pack size and price, cost per unit works itself out. 47 common items filled in with sample prices
- Recipes: 12 recipe cards (8 sample bakes included). Pick items from a dropdown, type amounts and get the total cost, cost each and a suggested price each
- Price List: every recipe on one page with cost, suggested price, your own price, profit and margin. Margin turns red if you're undercharging
- Quote: pick items, add extra decorating time, delivery, extras and discounts, and get the total, deposit and balance, plus your private profit figure
- Orders: 300 rows with due date, price, deposit, status, balance due, profit and days to go
- Tin Scaler: convert a recipe from one tin size or shape to another, see the new amounts and cost, plus a portion guide for 5 to 14 in round and square tins
- Dashboard: orders, sales, profit and money still to collect this year, the next 8 orders due and a month-by-month chart

WHAT YOU GET
- 2 versions: £ (grams, UK dates) and $ (ounces, US dates)
- Quick Start guide (PDF)
- Sample recipes and orders so you can see how it works (overwrite or delete them)
