The Speech Kit is for writing and delivering your speech. The Duties Kit is for everything else that lands on the best man: the stag do and its money, bookings, timings, the rings and the handovers. They're separate downloads designed to work together; the Duties Kit's wedding-day timings even hold a slot for your speech.

What's inside the Speech Kit?

Eleven files: a Start Here guide, a speech-writing guide, an editable workbook, print-ready workbooks, an editable final-speech document, six large cue cards and a rehearsal checklist. Print files come in A4 and US Letter.

What's inside the Duties Kit?

Nine files in one ZIP: a Start Here note, a 10-page duties handbook, an editable Word planner, a 14-page print planner, a day sheet with four pocket carry cards, and editable carry cards. Print files come in A4 and US Letter.

Will you write my speech or plan the day for me?

No. Both kits are self-guided: you bring the stories, names, times and places, and the kits give you the structure, examples and documents to do it well. Bespoke writing, planning services and live coaching aren't included.

Can I type into the files?

Yes. Both kits include editable Word (.docx) files. You'll need Microsoft Word or a compatible editor, which isn't included. Layout can shift between apps, so check Print Preview before printing. The PDFs are for reading, printing and handwriting; they aren't fillable.

Can I print and write by hand?

Yes. Print the PDFs and write straight onto them. Speech cue cards print two to a sheet; follow the cut line. Duties carry cards should be printed at Actual size or 100% so each card measures 170 x 95 mm.

How do I download my purchase?

Once Etsy confirms payment, sign in on Etsy.com in a web browser, open Purchases and select Download Files beside your order. Guest buyers can use the link in their receipt email. Downloads aren't currently available inside the Etsy app. Extract the ZIP and open Start Here first.

Can I use the kits on my phone?

You can read the PDFs on a phone, but a laptop or desktop is best for editing and printing. Download through Etsy.com in a browser rather than the Etsy app.

Can I share the files, and what if something won't open?

Each purchase is for one buyer and one wedding. Share your finished plan and speech with that wedding's helpers, but please don't share, resell or upload the blank templates. If a file won't open, message us on Etsy with the file name, your device and the app you're using, and we'll help. For order issues, use Etsy's Help with order option.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Download the files after Etsy confirms your payment, and extract the ZIP.
2. Open 00 Start Here, then read the handbook.
3. Type into the Word planner, or print the planner in your paper size. Keep one master copy.
4. When your details are confirmed, complete and print the day sheet and carry cards.

Stag do, bachelor party and bucks party are treated as the same planning job. Made for weddings in the UK, Ireland, the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
