This pet sitter instructions packet is a 9 page printable you fill in by hand before a trip, so whoever looks after your animals has your emergency numbers, each animal's day, food, and medicines, and your house rules in one place, with a Visit Log they fill in at every visit.

How to use it:
1. Gather your vet's phone number, the nearest emergency vet's address, your pet insurance policy, each animal's microchip number and registry, and the label of every medicine your animals take.
2. Print Pet Sitter Instructions US Letter.pdf or Pet Sitter Instructions A4.pdf, with page 3 for each trip, pages 7 and 8 once for your house, pages 4, 5, and 6 once for each animal, and page 9 once for each day you are away.
3. Ask your vet before you leave what they need for a sitter to bring your animal in, such as the sitter's name, a form you sign, and a card for payment.
4. Fill in Emergency Contacts with your address, where you are staying, your backup contact, both vets, and the most you approve for vet care.
5. Fill in This Animal, Food, and Health and Medicines for each animal, then House Rules and The House.
6. Walk the sitter through your house with the packet before you leave, and leave it where they will see it at every visit.
7. Read the Visit Logs when you get home for a dated record of every visit.

This Animal holds 11 lines about one animal, from its weight and markings to its microchip number and registry, hiding places, and escape risks, and 8 rows for its day from morning to night.
Food holds one animal's meals, the treats allowed, and the foods never given, and Health and Medicines holds its health conditions and allergies, when the sitter calls you the same day, and 8 rows for medicines copied from the label or your vet.
House Rules holds seven areas from doors and gates to visitors, with what the sitter does to keep each rule, and The House holds your wifi, your alarm code, your spare key, and 12 rows of things to find or do.
The Visit Log holds a line for the sitter's calls or texts to you and 12 rows for morning, midday, evening, and night visits, with the time arrived and left, what each animal ate and drank, medicine and time, and each walk or litter change.
