Most homeschool planners are made for American schools at home. This one is made for home-educating families in the UK: UK subjects, £, A4 and dd/mm/yyyy dates, no grades to fill in and no curriculum you have to follow. Log what you did in a few seconds a day, and the spreadsheet counts learning days and hours for each child, shows which subjects are getting time, and writes a summary you can print or save as a PDF (handy if your council asks how home education is going). A US edition ($, Letter, US subjects, days goal for your state) is included. Works in Google Sheets AND Excel.

WHAT'S INSIDE (10 tabs)
- Learning Log: one row per activity. Date, child, subject, what you did, kind of learning (lesson, project, reading, trip, online class, group, practice, everyday learning), minutes, resources and evidence
- Dashboard: learning days, hours, activities, books, trips and spending this year. Each child's days and progress bar, hours this week, average hours a day, hours by subject with a weekly goal check, and month by month totals with 2 charts
- Report: pick a child and dates (a term or the whole year). It writes a summary paragraph, then shows learning days, hours, subjects covered, kinds of learning and up to 30 examples of learning with notes. Ready to print
- Attendance: a whole-year calendar for each child with hours logged every day, learning days in green and a count for each month
- Weekly Plan: plan each child's week, with the hours actually logged each day shown next to the plan
- Reading Log: books finished, author, how you read it and a star rating
- Trips and Outings: museums, days out, clubs and visits, what was learned and the cost
- Resources and Spending: books, courses and classes, totals by subject and budget left
- Setup: up to 4 children, up to 16 subjects (rename them any time), your year start date, days goal and budget

HOW IT WORKS
- Download the files from your Etsy Purchases page
- Google Sheets: upload the .xlsx to Google Drive, open it, then File > Save as Google Sheets
- Excel: just open it (Excel 2010 or later, Windows or Mac, or Excel for the web)
- Type in the cream cells. Everything else updates on its own
- A Quick Start PDF walks you through setup in 5 minutes

GOOD TO KNOW
- Plain formulas only: no macros, no add-ins, no subscriptions
- Formula cells are locked so you can't break them by accident (no password, so you can unlock and customise)
- Apple Numbers and LibreOffice aren't officially supported
