“Really impressed with this budgeting spreadsheet! The purchase and download process was quick and easy, and the spreadsheet itself is fantastic. It’s visually appealing, well-organised and incredibly detailed. It offers many features which are easy to navigate as well as offering instructions to use the spreadsheet. Great value for money and would definitely recommend!”

Specifications

May include: A digital financial dashboard interface titled Paid biweekly? Plan all 26 paychecks, featuring data tables, progress bars, a bar chart comparing income versus spent, and a pie chart showing budget by group for Excel and Google Sheets.

A biweekly budget spreadsheet that plans your money paycheck by paycheck. Give every paycheck a plan, log what you spend, and watch the dashboard and charts update as you type. For Excel and Google Sheets.

WORKS FOR ANY COUNTRY, SET TO YOUR CURRENCY
Pick your country on the Settings tab. The currency symbol, date style and starter categories follow it: United States ($, 12/31/2026, paycheck), Canada, the UK, Australia and New Zealand are built in. Anywhere else? Pick Other and type your own symbol, such as €, R or kr.

WHAT'S INSIDE
• Dashboard: 6 cards, 3 progress bars and 4 auto charts (income vs spent each pay period, budget by group, running spent vs budget, savings goals)
• Start Here: quick setup steps and which cells to type in
• Settings: country, first payday and your income
• Budget: any bill, weekly, monthly, quarterly or yearly, converted to per paycheck, per month and per year
• Spending Log: 500 rows. The paycheck number and week fill in from the date
• Pay Period View: budget vs spent vs left by category for any paycheck, plus an overview of all of them
• Savings Goals: up to 10 goals with progress bars and the amount to set aside each paycheck

KEY FEATURES
• Built around 26 paychecks a year from your first payday, or 27 for a year with an extra payday
• Weekly, twice-a-month and monthly income convert to an amount per paycheck
• Rename any category by typing over it
• Starts blank: no sample rows to delete
• No macros, no add-ons, no subscription

WORKS WITH
• Microsoft Excel 2016 or later, or Microsoft 365: open the .xlsx. Desktop recommended.
• Google Sheets (free Google account): upload the .xlsx to Google Drive, right-click it, choose Open with > Google Sheets, then File > Save as Google Sheets. The Quick-Start PDF shows each step.
• Charts and formulas work in both. Shaded formula cells are protected without a password in Excel so they aren't overwritten by accident. Google Sheets doesn't keep this, so take care with shaded cells there.

WHO IT'S FOR
• Anyone paid every two weeks
• Couples sharing one budget
• Anyone saving toward a goal
• People who'd rather not pay for a budgeting app

NOT FOR
• Linking to your bank account
• Business bookkeeping or taxes
• Investment tracking
• Financial advice

HOW TO USE
1. Open the .xlsx in Excel, or upload it to Google Drive and save it as Google Sheets.
2. On Settings, pick your country and type the date of a payday and your income.
3. On Budget, add each bill or expense and how often you pay it.
4. Log spending on the Spending Log as you go.
5. Check the Dashboard and Pay Period View, and add goals on Savings Goals.
