Offered here is a very nice Silver Spigot Bent Billiard 312 with a nice sandblast grain showing vertical waves and other patterns around the bowl. It’s fitted with an unfiltered vulcanite stem ending with Peterson’s P-Lip mouthpiece. It’s a slightly smaller than medium pipe making it perfect for travel but large enough to enjoy at home on any given day. I in fact have this exact same pipe and have enjoyed it for years.

This pipe is very clean! It has a smooth chamber and overall, it’s near mint condition not having been used that much. Use the photos for your sign of condition and as always, review the dimensions as well.

Thanks for looking. - P

MORE ON THE SPIGOT 312 & SYSTEM.

HERE IS AN SP WRITE-UP ON THE SAME PIPE AND SHAPE THAT IS INFORMATIVE. IT’S A GREAT STORE.

“Peterson's "312" is one of the most iconic bent Billiards offered by the Irish marque and is among the largest designs within their System series. It displays a sweeping S-curve in profile while an abundance of robust muscularity defines the shank, transition, and bowl. Though its proportions are quite stout, the stem's gracefully arcing nature allows the shape to hang from the jaw with ease, making this a pipe that's just as practical as it is timeless. The "312" is an excellent choice for those interested in Peterson's signature shaping style and patented System engineering and also happen to prefer their briars on the larger side.
Peterson's System pipe is one of the Irish marque's most celebrated and historic innovations, boasting patents dating back to 1890. The System comprises three aspects: an army mount, internal condensation reservoir, and the graduated bore P-Lip mouthpiece (though Peterson does offer fishtail versions to accommodate smokers' preferences). Being the only externally visible of the three components, the military mount allows the pipe to be broken down even while hot, reinforcing the shank. Here, the added durability is thanks to regal sterling silver, with the added benefit of silver reinforcement about the tenon in a spigot mount arrangement. The other two parts, the internal reservoir and graduated bore, are found within the pipe itself — both working in tandem to remove moisture from the smoke and results in a more flavorful, drier smoke. Dating back over a century, Peterson's spigot mounts are among the best exhibitions of the Irish marque's quality silverwork — such silverwork having informed Peterson's identity to nearly the same degree as the System pipe. In the System Spigot line, those two definitive Peterson elements are on proud display, combining the marque's renowned System engineering with their superlative silverwork. It's a testament to the company's influence on the pipe industry at large, and the System's continued popularity over the past 100-plus years bespeaks the company's reputation for quality, with this particular example dressed in a concise sandblast and dark, formal stain.” - M. *If the pipe comes with an original box and / or pouch, I will certainly mention it in the description and usually shown in photos. Otherwise, it is for the pipe only, though I do package every one with a generic sock / pouch.

PACKAGING:
I’m sure I take more time than almost everyone in packaging and I do not spare any expense. Each pipe takes me 10-15 minutes to pack. I’ve yet to hear of any pipe arrive damaged. With few exceptions, my pipes are always shipped as one piece. It requires larger boxes and more materials but the most famous pipe makers insist it’s better during shipping for climate acclimation and not having pipes apart for too long.

» You get what you pay for.
At a minimum, I do everything possible to make sure the pipe is at its best and packaged well. All pipes are carefully inspected, cleaned, gently buffed, waxed with Carnauba and the stems are hand polished and oiled as needed. For a decade, I’ve put all I have into these pipes, packaging and more. I really enjoy it and my fellow hobbyists.

BY PURCHASING A TOBACCO PIPE OR RELATED ITEMS FROM THIS STORE, YOU ATTEST / AFFIRM YOU ARE AT LEAST 21 YEARS OLD.

I do not have the time to reply to messages asking for deals. If I have room to move, I’ll list the pipe as “Or Best Offer.” Prices are firm. Please consider the large seller fees, taxes and equipment investments. If I don’t reply, no offense intended. It’s just time consuming to explain all this in each message. I appreciate your consideration.

All info such as filtered or no, dimensions and info is listed above, most of it at the beginning of the ad in bullet points.

AFTER YOUR PURCHASE & INFO:
I spent a lot of time planning every little part and unboxing experience is important too. I’ve never had a pipe arrive damaged either.
Pipes are almost always shipped as one piece. This is far better for the pipe, particularly with climate changes during shipping.

Expect replies during normal business times. I reply as fast as I can, but if it’s the weekend or middle of the night, it may be a bit before I’m able to read and reply.
