Handmade rug, a vintage handwoven Turkish extra large rug measuring 7.3 x 10.7 ft (223 x 326 cm), with a softly faded green field, muted pink medallions and an ornate floral border. This hand-knotted Oushak Carpet has a pale sage-green background that reflects daylight gently, helping a living room or dining room feel more open without losing the detail of its traditional design. The lighter surface also makes everyday marks easier to notice, so its existing wear is worth considering when choosing a placement.

The central medallion is surrounded by smaller decorative motifs, with floral details extending along the length of the rug. Muted dusty pink, peach, beige and touches of faded blue appear against the green ground. The broad pink border contains closely arranged flowers and scrolling forms, framing the rectangular field without overwhelming it. This Vintage Turkish rug has a restrained palette that works especially well with pale upholstery, natural wood furniture and simple neutral walls.

The surface shows visible fading, worn areas and irregular lighter patches across the field, including a noticeable band of wear through the middle and along the central design. These characteristics remain part of the rug's appearance rather than being concealed or presented as a uniform finish. The hand knotted rug retains its detailed medallion composition, decorative side motifs and layered floral borders. Its aged surface gives the pattern a softer appearance, while the original color variation remains visible throughout.

At 7.3 x 10.7 ft, this extra large rug provides a substantial rectangular footprint for a seating arrangement or dining table. It works as an oversized rug beneath a sofa and chairs, with enough surface area to establish a defined gathering space. As a dining room rug, its dimensions can accommodate a suitably sized table, although chair clearance should be checked against the actual furniture measurements. The same proportions suit a spacious bedroom where a large section of the rug can remain visible around the bed. Its approximate 7x11 ft footprint makes it a practical choice for buyers seeking a generously sized vintage area rug rather than a narrow runner.

A rug with a story: Made in Türkiye in the 1970s. It is a lasting vintage accent. It offers a connection to its era. The verified Oushak origin and hand-knotted construction give this handmade rug a clear identity, while the faded green and pink medallion design provides the visual character. The visible wear should be considered part of the existing condition, not a feature that has been digitally corrected or hidden.
