Keep short family recipes in cards you can type, save, and print. Best filled in on a computer with a free PDF reader (Adobe Acrobat Reader or your browser). On a phone or tablet, use the free Adobe Acrobat Reader app: other apps may not let you type. Every card also prints blank for handwriting, and a saved, typed card is a PDF you can email to family. Choose a native 3 x 5, 4 x 6, or 5 x 7 inch fillable PDF, or print two 4 x 6 cards on a US Letter or A4 sheet. One simple design: a minimal card with a small spoon icon, no border or color options. Ingredients and directions share each front; the optional reverse is for notes or a family story. The blank cards also work for handwriting.

HOW TO USE THEM
Open a card PDF in a PDF reader. Type a short phrase on each printed line and press Tab to move between fields. The 3 x 5 card has 6 ingredient and 6 direction lines; 4 x 6 has 10 of each; 5 x 7 has 13 of each. The Letter and A4 sheets have two independent 4 x 6 cards per page, each with 10 ingredient and 10 direction lines. Every card also has recipe name, servings, prep and cook fields, plus a notes reverse. Save a copy with your entries. Print at 100% or Actual Size on paper your printer supports, and test one print before making a set. For the sheets, cut along the crop marks; use a long-edge flip if you print the optional notes side. Type is a fixed size (8 pt on the 3 x 5, 9 pt on the 4 x 6, 10 pt on the 5 x 7) and does not shrink. Each line stops taking letters at its edge: about 30 characters per ingredient line and 45 per direction line on the 3 x 5; 34 and 51 on the 4 x 6; 36 and 54 on the 5 x 7. Got a long recipe? Use the 5 x 7, keep going on the notes side, or use a second card.

GOOD TO KNOW
- Digital download only. Nothing is shipped. Unzip the print-sheets file on a computer or in your phone's Files app to access the Letter and A4 PDFs.
- The text fields are fillable. The layout, fonts and colors are fixed; this is not a Canva or Word template.
- Download in a web browser, not the Etsy app. With an Etsy account, go to Your account > Purchases. If you checked out as a guest, use the download link in your Etsy receipt email.
