Know exactly how much to save each month, and which goals are falling behind.

Add your goals with a target amount and a target date: emergency fund, vacation, Christmas, a car, a house, or any bill you know is coming. This spreadsheet works out the monthly amount each goal needs (counting the interest your savings account pays), adds them up, and tells you whether the plan fits what you can actually save.

Then log your deposits. It checks your real pace against every target date and marks each goal On track, Behind or Done.

It is a real calculator, not a coloring chart.

WHAT YOU GET

- The monthly amount each goal needs to hit its date, with interest (APY) counted
- Total needed per month vs what you can save: "plan fits" or "short by $X"
- Your pace from the last 3 months and a projected finish date for every goal
- On track / Behind / Past due / Done status, color coded
- Progress bars, saved so far and left to save for up to 15 goals
- A 36-month Monthly Plan: what to put in each goal, every month
- Dashboard with a progress chart and deposits by month
- Savings history by goal and month for the whole year

SINKING FUNDS

Sinking funds are money set aside for bills you know are coming: Christmas, car insurance, back-to-school, a dentist bill. Add each one as a goal with its due date and you get the monthly amount to set aside.

WHAT'S INSIDE (6 tabs)

1. Start Here - plain-English setup in a few minutes
2. My Goals - target, date, APY, saved, needed per month, pace, status
3. Contributions - log deposits and withdrawals with a dropdown (500 rows)
4. Monthly Plan - what to save for each goal, 36 months ahead
5. Dashboard - totals, progress chart, deposits by month
6. History - deposits by goal and month for the year

HOW IT WORKS

1. Add your goals: target amount, target date, what is already saved.
2. Type what you can save each month.
3. Log each deposit. Everything else updates.

EXAMPLE (included as sample data)

7 goals from an emergency fund to a house down payment. They need $1,501 a month together; this saver can put away $1,800, so the plan fits with $299 to spare. $17,518 saved of $47,620 (37%). Christmas gifts is flagged Behind at the current pace.

- Works in Google Sheets: upload it to Google Drive and open it, everything recalculates
- A one-page Quick Start Guide (PDF)

No macros, no add-ons, no subscription. Instant download.
